As part of the House Refuge project, the webinar “The Insurance Sector and the Protection of Dwelling Houses against Wildfires” took place on 16 June 2023, with an audience of over 300 participants.
This webinar brought together a group of insurance experts from different countries to discuss the importance of the sector in protecting buildings from wildfires.
Attendees had the opportunity to understand the different policies regarding insurance coverage in different parts of the world and the importance and potential that the insurance sector can have in developing better policies to protect buildings and communities from wildfires.
