On November 27, 2019, the House-Refuge Project was presented by Miguel Almeida at the Meeting “Rural Fires: Better management based on scientific evidence”, organized by the Portuguese Foundation for Science Technology (FCT), by ForestWise – Collaborative Laboratory for Integrated Management of Forest and Fire, and the Agency for the Integrated Management of Wildfires (AGIF), which took place in Algés (Portugal).
